    ok ok. fair doo's ill try and remove the ird. the extra time to remove it will no doubt "speed the job up" anyhow.:cool: does the td4 exhaust downpipe get in the way... can i leave that on?

    Bugger !!

    even if brake lights work, it still could be the brake light switch. ive had 3 go. and each time its been one of the three gold prongs snapped off inside at the bottom of the switch causing it to short.
