    ickle stone maybe cought on pads copper grease for some stupid reason on back plates of pad stops squeal but depends what squeal you get. If its a squeal like a boiled egg shoved up a pigs arse then thats bad. If not then power washing discs will not help. You need to get down with the gritty

    Most vehicles I know if that came from the front you looking at the CV joint , but being new to Landys I dunno what they have in place and being 4 wheel drive may indicate a bearing gone wonky. But thats just a wild guess as I know 4x4s and all offroad are built more sturdy than your norm car...
