I've had it 8 years done most things myself or at my mates garage this is different though I can't do this

It's at a landrover specialist now and they have said it is the high pressure fuel pump they won't replace it without taking the body off
I Need a decent mechanic to do the job without taking the body off
Or I'll have to get rid

I will do I need to find out the readings as the garage said they had read the fuel pressure

It's had the fuel pressure sensor replaced and all the pressures tested
At the lift pump to the hp pump then from the hp pump to the rail and all pressures are ok
What could it be please

Hi thanks for the reply
I've had a auto electrician look at it he cleared the codes and it just comes back
Some times it let's me drive it normally after being in limp mode
One garage I rang said the body needs to come off to replace the hp pump but reading about 2006 models

Have a fault and need some help please as nobody can fix it so far its at its 4th garage now
Code p2288 injection tor pressure too high
In limp mode
If its the high pressure fuel pump can it be done without removing the body

Have had it to 3 different garages and nobody so far can fix it is it the high pressure fp that needs replacing
The car goes in and our of limp mode
Still runs like normal for short periods
