I think it's a spline bit Ian, I'm awaiting a little more info, I've logged onto the Nissan site too, but nothing is coming up on their search !

Morning all, I've been asked by a mate who lives in Barbados, to try and get him a Nissan cylinder head bolt removal bit, believed to be called a T8.....now I know there is a wealth of knowledge on here, so before I start searching, I thought I'd see if any of you had any ideas, my local...

Just had a look at another possible cause, the fuel pressure regulator valve, if the diaphragm is damaged then fuel will leak into the vacume pipe ! I'm no expert, but another area to consider !!

My Combo doesn't seem to use too much fuel either ( tend to drive like an old fart) these days, but I only get the fumes whilst driving. Obviously a fuel leak somewhere, it's either vapourising on contact, is there no obvious wet patch either under the Landy or below any fuel lines ? Or...

Unrelated to a Landy, but my Combo does the same, open the drivers window and fumes waft in, garage friend of mine said it could possibly be an over fuelling issue.....

The adjusters have cams I believe ( from memory) and they have to be fitted the correct way up, they fall out if not.... Was a few years ago that I did mine, so I cld be talking bull cocks!! (200tdi)

Had the same problem a couple of years ago, fitted a new barrel, watch out for the small grub screw though when you come to remove the old one!

Another thread has mentioned the thermostat, they changed it and the result was a toasty warm interior!

Not that I know much, but does the tub line horizontally with the doors and wings? My truck cab tub sits high at the back when you follow the lines, poss cause is the bulkhead needs aligning forward, as I said I don't know that much, but just a thought....
