I don’t generally but it’s on the starter motor exciter circuit so if it fails while out I can just bump start it

I had a smart idea to swap my hazard light switch from my defender however im having a few issues with the wiring. Ive got my diagram for where the wires go but I am having no luck, please has anyone swapped to the below that could help?
