I have just bought a valeo clutch kit with a NSK bearing. The bearing is not central of is out of round.
My experience of bearings is that they should be concentric.
This is what the supplier said
We stock FTC5200 and FTC5200G we’ve sold over 3600 between the 2 versions with 100% quality rating...

It’s definitely oil and it’s coming from the stud.

I have just run a rebuilt engine on the bench before putting it back into the vehicle. I have noticed an oil leak on the studs that hold the injectors in. Should there be a copper washer there or hold should it be sealed?

Thanks for the info.
Is the actual canister the same size and are the ports in similar places.
I need the air filter housing for a Defender 200tdi replacing a TD.
I have a high mounted turbo and can position the filter on the rhs as it should be.
I’m happy to fabricate appropriate brackets.

The pump has been professionally rebuilt and we assume by locking it it will match TDC on no 1 and the cam pulley will match the timing marks.

We put two con rods in the cam followers and rotated the crank to establish the firing position for no 1 piston. It appears to line up on 4.
We rotated it twice.
With the timing belt on and the timing marks aligned rotating it twice comes back to the same alignment.
We’re inclined to build to...

I am rebuilding a 1990 200tdi engine and just put the timing belt on. The head isn’t on yet.
On checking the TDC ( pistons 1 and 4 at the top) the timing appears to be set at 4 rather than 1.
The crank woodruff is straight up, the cam pulley mark points to the arrow and the pump is locked with a...

Thank you to everyone who replied.
My thoughts were to fit a TD down pipe and a TD front section as the silencer beyond that is a TD. Whilst the 200tdi down pipe appears to encompass the 2 TD pipes I’m not convinced it will meet up with the existing TD exhaust.

I have a 1987 90 Defender csw which was originally a TD but had a NA in when I bought it 2 years ago. I have a 200tdi replacement engine which has been stripped and am in the process of rebuilding. The engine has a disco block but everything else is Defender.
My query is to do with the exhaust...
