Have finally given up trying to find a top rear door for my hard top 88". So I have made up a wooden template for the door and am now trying to sort out the hinges, without much success. Has anybody got any information or dimensions on these, before I pull what remains of my hair out !

Is that 40 yrs from manufacture or first registration ? If it's from manufacture how do I find out what date it was built. I have the serial number, so is there a register of dates built ?

I recently acquired a hard top for my Series 3 swb but the rear door is missing, I want to keep the tailboard but there seems to be a severe shortage of cat flap doors on the market ! Anybody out there know if they are still available from a supplier or got one hiding in the back of your shed ?

Are there any suppliers of the hard top cat flap doors, I need one for a series 3 but can't find a supplier !

I have an 88" series III diesel, the problem is the throttle is extremly sensitive which causes a very uncoumfortable ride, I have replaced all the bushes on the linkage and tried a stronger return spring but to little efect. Am I missing something obvious or do I just live with it ???
