Hey tom odds are that the seals have perished on the master cylinder top it up and pump like crazy and check the top of the pedal itself you may see the fluid running down very slightly its hardly noticeavle. alternatively remove the 6 screws drom the cylinder box and check it internally. hope...

Good way to loosen the nut is a long handle ratchet with a pole when switch the ratchet to undo and lightly crank the engine it will crack right off make sure you use a six sided socket and old wd40 quick cjeck and tighten her down in gear hope it helps

Not really i work alot as a tvr specialist so v8s im excellent and alot of the electrics are borrowed from landys but mine is a diesel hahaha yer hoping to get mine sorted in under 12 months money permitted get it into an offroad beast.

I work on alot of rusty shed that live in garages for years haha quick check over first make sure its got all wiring to starter motor reg lads love messing about and liberating parts. give her a little drop pf fresh oil to lube up the gallery maybe a touch of easy start as ypy crank get her...
