Thanks for the picture guy it helps. Your the second person to say that to me today about cutting a hole in the sump guard, Looking under mine i think the previous owner has already done it. Has anyone got a descent diagram for jacking the car up its an o1 td4.

Ive been trying to do an oil change on my 01 TD4, but I can't get the sump guard off. Ive got the Haynes manual but it doesn't show how to take it off, has anyone got any pictures or a description of how to do it?? Cheers Alex :dance:

Hi Guys, Going to give my 01 plate TD4 a service, I have lost my Haynes :( manual. The car has 148.000 on the clock have you guys got any tips? especially about the fuel filter as from what I have seen it seems rather awkward. Also were would you guys recmend to get the filter...

Thanks for the info guys, I think I may give my local power flow centre a bell and see what they say. Out of interest would you guys rekomend fitting an egr removal kit? and a K & N or Piper cross filter?

Does anybody know of an companys that still do stainless sports exhausts for a TD4 ? Alex

The Car is an 01 plate td4 3 door the stereo has the 6 disc changer. From the sound of it, it maybe the BMW connector.

Is this still available ?? and will it fit a TD4??

Hi guys, I'm trying to fit an aftermarket stereo to my freebie,but after checking the connections the, the adaptors that are available dont seem to fit. Is there an easy fix or will I need to get the connections hard wired ??

You could say that but touch wood no probs as of yet, and the freelander is very cheap to run :)
