does anyone know what the 'closed till further notice' is all about on the essex offroad website? i thought they were an all year round site. it used to be when i had my old disco a couple of years ago. hope someone has an answer it's a good site.

i have found in the past if you search 'lifting' strap or strops and shackles they are sometimes cheaper than 'off road' ;)

i would say do the boot floor as normal with repair panel and put a rubber mat in the boot floor as you will get the hump with stuff sliding about in the boot on the checker plate. normal panels are pretty sturdy once repaired.

Dude I'm in halstead and just had to do this repair to mine. I cut it all back to good steel and patched it with steel thicker than stock panels to hold the rot off longer, treated and painted.

I have done it!!! Whoop whoop. Was a corroded earth wire in the blue plug under the dash passenger side.

It's not the switches as I have cleaned them all up and if I take the spade connector off the switch and earth it straight to the battery the light still doesn't come on. I didn't know if there might be a reason why the one door works buy not the other 4 (5door truck). There must be a point...
