For an example what can these tools do in way of optimising performance.

It could be the latter, I would just like to have it running perfectly before spending money "tuning" it. No point tuning an engine that isn't full power to start with. I was never expecting a race car but would like it to have a bit more power behind it.

Thanks very much for the replies. I managed to bodge it with a bit of pipe over it and a couple of cable ties. Will keep the part numbers saved though for when this breaks.

Can anyone tell me what this part number is, I managed to snap it while opening the airbox, its the one the black arrow is pointing to. Also is it a dealer only part? (As the image isn't overly clear, its the thin pipe on top of the radiator)
