so basically if my tensioners are ok still then just chuck a belt on it and the front cover looks much newer than the rest of the engine area so id agree it was done and it had been very well looked after before the last divvy owner had it

im planning to do the cambelt on my m reg 300tdi but im unsure of this modified cambelt thing? how do i know if mine has the modified cambelt on it and is the belt as standard if its modified or not? its on 96k and it appears genuine millage and it seems all tensioners are good and the seal...

have you welded all of it or just part of it? and how did you weld it fromone end to the other in a continuous line or tack sections and then infill?

right iv got a totally standard exhaust on my 300 tdi and im plannin on getting a de cat pipe so that is gone and il have the middle and the back box left. but my middle box is about shot and iv seen a solid replacement pipe with just a rear silencer but..... iv been told i shouldnt remove...

iv search and searched and cant find how much ep 80/90 oil to change the oil in my front and rear diff and also the transfer box aswell. ps 300tdi 1995 disco r 380 box (well so im told)
