MJI, Thanks, but at the moment I'm out my depth on this so once I've got the wiring back in place I'm going to try and find someone to physically take the car to who knows what they are doing. Just need to find that person.

Peter, Thanks for these - the links are now working But, although they are of some interest to help me work things out.. My D1 3.9 ( serpentine) is not covered and as you'll know the engine is a very different layout to the 4.0 & 4.6 Bosch.

Not especially.. As I'm competent with gas installation and domestic electrical..its auto electronics that I'm not familiar with (yet) So knowing that the solenoid valves ( both th one at the vaporiser and the one at the tank) remains closed unless energised I know there's no gas flowing...

Peter, Thank you for your reply - I've decided - based on your comments and some of the other 'helpful' comments on the thread that I'm going to simply tidy up the installation ( re-route the cables etc neatly ) but effectively return all the installed connections to exactly as it was before...

D1 3.9v8 Efi well this weekend I decided that the engine bay looked like a dirty greasy oily bowl of spaghetti.. So it needs tidying up and clearing of cloutter. My Zavolli multipoint LPG system hasn't worked properly since some numpty decided to tweak the ECU software 'map' and forgot to save...

would it be worth having a STICKY for LPG advice within the V8 thread that people coud post useful advice on set-up and adjustment fixes?

Is anyone else finding that almost all (if not all) images within threads are just showing as dead links? I'm no goggle chrome browser but have also tried Explorer and had the same issue. Does anyone know how it can be resolved? Cheers

i read on another forum that you can get this sound if the oil feed / pressure is not what it should be, There was debate about different oil grades and pump effectiveness. Then someone (who seemed to have years of experience) suggested checking the oil feed pick-up pipe (in the sump) for debris...

I used Stuart earlier this month. Did a great job rebuilding my rear suspension an sorting out the brakes/abs all round. I'm happy with his work and his advice on the long term maintenance of my 98 discovery 3.9v8 LSE. To that end I will be using him again soon.
