Hi, I just changed the IRD on my freelander petrol 2000 reg a few weeks ago and I am getting something similar, upon starting revs to about 2500 and takes an age to drop and when driving upon pressing the clutch to change gear the revs stay high or actually go up to 3000 odd.... I find that...

I will just stick with a recon then, that was my thoughts on the ebay ones, was worried would end up with a duff ird.

btw what are peoples thoughts on 2nd hand IRD's on ebay??? works out cheaper than a recon unit but bit worried about how long it would last.
