It does seem well spec'd inside and seems nice to drive even though iv only driven it round a horse area with a drag on the back! No idea on the orignal wheels, i think the wheels on it are range rover wheels? Im not really in a rush to do out with it, its getting some use at the farm...

Hi all, Some of you might of seen this on my series 2 thread. I bought this mainly for the engine but looking at fitting a 300tdi to my series is more work than i want to do and its a loooong way off that yet. this disco is a Mot failure, it failed on these things - is this worth...

yeah its a 50th anni one with 300tdi engine, whats so special about it?

Keeping it for the time being, not 100% sure on my plans yet. it might get rebuilt and put back in or i might the 300tdi

Not sure yet on it, im waiting to get the fail sheet from the last owner, i know it needs welding on the arches where the doors shut on the rear, but not looked much further!, was a bargin at only £250 :)

Got my Discovery yesterday, plan was to fit the engine from this in the series 2 but not sure yet, it was to cheap to say no to, i might do the mot work on it yet or make it in to a offroad truck!

Done a little more today, got the side still off the drivers side and removed the seat box from the cab. Iv also just purchased a mot failure Discovery, the plan is to fit the engine from that in this but not 100% sure, it was to good a price to say no!

Maybe, i have no history with it atall, i know im the tenth owner of it, and the log book states it was regustured in august 1961, I could apply to the dvla for a age related plate.

haha no thats my sister who i took to collect it with me. this picture was taken before we broke down though! never want a repeat of that day wasn't fun getting recovered home with a broken ranger and trailer with the land rover on the back!
