I would agree with that but the TD6 engine does seem to have more than its fair share of big problems with lower end of engine

You will not be paranoid just pre-warned, if you have or can get a warranty that you can extend I would think it would be a good idea. IF you really want to scare your self watch this
Hope all goes well with it, they are great cars wish tax man here would let me have one instead of taking the...

You would think with 450 people on a face book group they would have crossed one or two that will not let it drop, if they had done the same thing 20 years ago chances are they would be holding up a motorway bridge some where

All land rover owners are poor men, or a lot poorer than they would be if they did not have the land rover, for best results when asking a question if you put year and engine type then you will get more help quicker :)

A lot depends on you, if you have the money and if it all goes bang losing it is not going to f##k up you life too much then enjoy, if you have to borrow the money to buy it and all goes wrong then you have to borrow more to fix it or replace it then this will make it harder to drive around in...

Have you got a spare key? silicon spray is normally better for locks than oil, have you tried rocking s/wheel as you try and turn key,
A very light tap on the end of the key with hammer might help free it, good luck

these people had a problem with the crank shaft sensor after a rebuild on another video but can not find it, it was the disk on the flywheel, think if there is a problem with crank or cam shaft sensor it will not allow fuel to be injected, should be easy to find if you put it on scan tool and it...

Not a expert, but there are many on here who are, but think engine is same and all the bits need to be changed over but someone else will know a lot more, I am sure

Engine from s type Jag is cheapest option whole car can be got for 1 to 2k but still have a engine that could break the same some time down the road
-
That would make the car companies a lot more focus on car weight
It would be great if you had a car with 400 mile range but from 4 batteries and you could run it with 1 2 3 or 4 batteries dependent on how far you are going and the other batteries could be at home acting as a sink for your solar...

What would it take to fit the 2.7L engine? you can get a S type Jag for 2k with good engine and with the oil pump sorted seem to be a better option, but bet getting everything to talk to each other and work would be a pig
