Right guys i Know i have finaly found it, bit of a mixed bag this one a few days before the water incident i had a mot done and the kid!!!!!!!!! in the mot station said that he had put a litre of engine oil in because my level was low?? this i was quite supprised as i am very hot on my checks...

hi guys your all saying what i am thinking, that water is somewhere causing havoc its a dry saturday tomorrow so im in under the bonnet looking for the wet spot the water was muddy so it has left a mark where it went ie nearside bulkhead the light was still intermitantly coming on and off today...

hi all i have a td4 prob for you to solve if you all could be so kind, two days ago it was raining hard and i drove through a large puddle by the side of the road at some speed pushing water all over the bonnet and screen and presumably up into the engine bay and straight away the engine...

After reading this about my black smoke and i found one of my rubber hose split , i fixed it for six quid thanks lads, nice one
