Ooops, not that way. Do you know anyone who can pick up? If not, could post if you pay charges. I do not know if smoke on start up is MAF. Have you checked your glow plugs / relay and injectors?

The grommet at the base of the air cleaner mounting pipe had cracked and was allowing the turbo to suck in more air that the MAF meter was reading. ECU error read showed up nothing, however MAF meters going faulty do not always flag up. Trying to source a new grommet from dealers, however...

Disconnected MAF and it runs fine (power wise) however the turbo seems to be working overtime. Is this the turbo intake hose and the reason the MAF kills off revs is lack of airflow due to the loose pipe? I have tried getting it back on but seems extremely loose :-( Any help or advise would be...

Hi all, apologies, did several searches but did not get anything back. I had a suspected faulty MAF so cleaned it without any joy.I disconnected the MAF and got loads of torque and revs again, I bought a replacement Bosch one with housing and whilst disconnecting the pipe from the old housing...

Makes one wonder if the little sh!t is in custody, then the parents are known, can they be approached by Police to pay up for damages if under the age?

It was the return to pump. Blockage right by the steel return line. What a complete B*tch of a job to get to. The "T" connector and "O" ring are OK, thank god. All sorted, thanks for all of your help, have a great day gents. :)

I need urgent help please, I did search the Google bar, but nothing seems to match so apologies if this has been covered. The Freelander struggles slightly on start up, but then catches. At that moment, the "T" connector for the diesel over-spill hose blows out of the injector. Fuel slowly...

Watched lines with engine running, 1st from left line became saturated within 20 seconds. Changed T connectors for injector bleed offs. Problem solved. I suspect perished O rings but didn't have correct profile. May help someone if they have the same issue as a potential fix.

hi everyone. I recently bought a Freelander. The bleed off lines were shot, I replaced them, however still appear to gets bit of diesel on the block and a small patch when the Freelander is moved. The idle sometimes appears sluggish and low. I was wondering if this was perhaps a faulty injector...
