Looks small for a pump. A fuel cut off solenoid maybe?

Some miserable sods on here.

Good stuff.
No diff bothers me but I can't see it playing nicely with traction if a 300 much was fitted

I've been looking at them but I fancy a bit of comfort to be honest. Disco meets my needs.
Shouldn't have sold my old one but we live and learn

Got my eye on an early disco 2 td5. I'm comfortable with the rest of a discovery but have absolutely zero experience of the TD5.
So, what they like? Bit more refined and economical? What about electrical woes? Other common problems?

But if rust has already set it. Which it will have then your just covering it up.

It's 10 year old so that's just a waste of time.

Infact here is pic of when i did mine.
The linkage you want to whip off is on the right (got a nut as a spacer in the pic)
That shaft should move Left and right freely.
-
It'll just be the lever mech that's seized. Whip the gear gators off and mat then remove the rubber cover to gain access to it. Disconect the linkage and try move it side to side. If it dnt move then whip the whole thing off and soak in WD40 and try and persuade it free.
Alternatively just get...

A simple hydraulic shut off would work. Not sure i'd be happy with that though as if it engaged while driving you'd have no brakes!

These guys must be on a big sales drive at the moment. They are putting out some silly cheap prices for me on a 'fender. Up to 50% cheaper infact. Unsure whether id use them again as i didn't have the vest experience last time.

Had this with my old disco. Pain in the arse to set up!!!

Adblocker extension in chrome does the job.

I wouldn't want to weld someone else motor but i have a welder to borrow if you wish
