Cheers for that I will keep that one for future use, I have finished the job now did a bit of fabricating pushing half in side what was left of the chassis half finished up better than I thought.

Sorry forgot to photo at start, but chopped half off body bit and spot welded and MIG welded the rest. Will post finished job.

I have done both the pig for me as the bolts the muti hexagonal heads had gone, so I had to batter on an old under sized socket to get them off, it was straight for ward after that buy new bolts as well.

Hi have I fitted ali checker plate cross braced with new steel struts bolted in place with stainless steel bolts and penny washers, redrilled the holes for seats and belts that was 2 years ago and it keeps passing it MOT,l solid as a rock and no rot .

I have a disco 1 200 TDI 94 and I have had it 14 years, my Mrs said get a newer one, no chance I cut out the floor last year and put in 3mm ali checker, this year new inner wings, they go on for ever. Enjoy it, its a big tonka toy.

2nd buyer, I thought I would buy it on my way to a Td5 Disco, 13 years later still got it, and its so reliable, 200 Tdi 1994, knocking out 30 mpg, plus its all mechanical. Why change. I love it.

A trick I use, after running when topped up, run the front up ramps for 5mins then down, and I find the air comes out of the system and your level drops in the header tank.
