Morning all Just wondering what this is worth now L Reg (1994) LR defender 90 county 200TFI 119K 12 months MOT lots of service history. Chassis waxoiled and rust free, areas of oxidisation on the paint. 2 owners from new Basically untouched, no mods etc. Thanks in advance

Thanks all, one final tension and a trip to the pub snapped the belt, fitted a new Dayco belt last night - seems to be holding for know! Thanks for all the knowledge!

Defender engine. Belt pic is attached. Although I’ve started it up this morning, drove round the block and the thing snapped. Somethings not right!

Struggling to find evidence of what engine this is or easiest way to identify it… help would be much appreciated. It’s in a 1994 County. I think it’s a 200TDI

I’ve got folding steps that came fitted, trying to remove them.... passenger side is easy! But because of the fuel tank on the other side I can’t get to the back of one of the bolts... is there a nack to removing them? Please don’t say I have to remove the fuel tank!

Silly me for being curious really... the small rusty match has turned into this. What’s the best way forward?.....

Thanks for all your advice.... after some thought I’m probably going to keep the rostyles on and get them re painted and change the tyres.... so the next question is can I fit tubeless tyres? And if so does this restrict choice?

I am looking to better fill up the arch space, give it a more substantial look. I think it looks a little perched on its current wheels. And to fit a tyre suited for mild off road use. But I want to keep the classic look hence the white steel wheel... yes a budget but that’s just not to spend...

Thanks all, that’s great. So as far as getting a larger tyre... what’s the biggest off road style tyre you can fit in the standard steels? Thinking the BF Goodrich type ones with medium tread

Hi all Picked up the new project today. 1994 county! Planning on changing the wheels to the standard white steel wheels. Want to fill the arches up a bit more with bigger tyre as well. Is it just a case on bolt on the new wheels or is there more to it.....?
