ive got a couple of spare pumps,one came off a 1998 with 90k,the other 1999 with 82k,only problem with them both is i have damaged the locking ring on the main multi pin plugs (dont ask!!),i think you would be able to swap the one off yours to replace it,i am open to offers on either one of...

well,still not drained all the air out, but i do now know theres nothing wrong with the air bags,its been sat on highest setting 3 days nows and not moved at all.

any idea how to realease the pressure in the tank,is it a case of pulling a pipe and standing back,

is there any way to test the valve block and driver,

i only thought it was that because there is no continuity in the switch when i checked it with the multi meter,wouldnt the switch have to be operable to depressurise the system.

Anyone know where it is,eas is stuck in off road height and wont drop,ive even tried depressurising the system and nowts appening.i tested as per rsw and i think its the pressure switch,problem is i cannot find it to replace it. cheers

it sounds like a tuning box has been fitted at some time,if its the yellow wires on the red plug into the ecu these are the injector wires that have been spliced into,

remaped ecu defo better,plug in just fools the ecu into overfuelling,the one i am selling would fit yours so long as you do the other upgrades to go with it gazz

the 2001 was parked on a building site last year when a low loader carrying a 40 excavator reversed over the back end of it,to say it was an uneconomical repair would be an understatement.

cheers Gav,its a 2001 going into a 98 probably just the air flow meter and egr to get rid of the newer engine,wifes just asked me why i am wanting to convert to diesel and not keep it petrol:doh::doh:,hence the reason i dont let her anywhere near the drivers seat,

ive just been offered an engine from a 2001 dse with 40000 miles on it,i think its just a straight swap but not sure if the new engine needs coding to the ecu or should it just fire straight up, cheers Gareth
