    Cent. Locking query.

Yes, it seems the Rover 75 is identical, handy to know when trailing round the breakers. I have seen listings specifically for 8 pin FL cl motors listed as up to 2002 though. I have had a number of VW Passats that also had lock and window regulator issues just like the FL. There were spare pins...

    Cent. Locking query.

Yeeeah  but apart from that, ours is an 04 and the eBay part said 2001 in white marker.....

    Cent. Locking query.

Wife's td4 drivers door lock started playing up, the fob would lock but not unlock the car, a common fault I believe. I was lucky to find one straight away on eBay for £37 delivered - steep for a breaker part I know but hey ho it saved trailing round the yards and maybe having to remove the part...

    Towing kit...

Am considering an upgrade from a FL 2.0Td4 HSE to a Disco 4, hopefully another HSE. Having noticed a couple on the road, some with the cover plate in place some with it missing exposing the tow ball and towing electrics my question is do they come with towbar and electrics fitted ready to pop...

Hello, New to the forum with a mystery to solve.

Had a look myself the other day and Practical classics now only print their valuation guide in segments, A-D , E-G etc and they seem to be on the M`s onwards now so no Land Rovers listed this month. I note though that they have the full valuation guide online now, search practical classics...

It might not be as bad as you think...

A graunching noise appeared on the wifes Td4HSE while 100 miles from home at the start of a caravanning holiday:confused:. I very rarely drive the FL having my own cars but It is always me that drives when it comes to towing. From the drivers seat on the move the noise appeared on the overrun in...

    Good lr garage fred

I have seen less than complimentary comments around the net about 4 Muddy Feet at Morpeth, SE Northumberland - particularly about their online shop- but in my experience they are to be recommended for the following reasons. 1)Last year the under arch fuel pump failed on the wifes FL 2.0Td4, I...

Hello, New to the forum with a mystery to solve.

Next time you are in the newsagents skim through (or buy ) a copy of "Practical Classics" car mag, look at the valuation guide in the back. Your model will be listed as it is an early example and the guide should give you a (very) rough idea of what to expect to get for it then advertise in a...

    Auxillary heater

Temp sensor was missing on mine when bought. Cabin always cold and engine took forever to warm up. Fitted new sensor and mrs now very happy - warm car. The sound effects and stage smoke just add to the entertainment that comes with owning a fl.

    Help needed asap *Please*

Hmm,would agree that this noise could arise from a stone in the tread or having picked up a nail on the road. When I had a noise like that with my Range Rover once I took it to a transmission specialist thinking I had a CV joint problem. The chap had me turn the car on lock a couple of times...

    Connectors behind front bumper?

The one on the drivers side is for the outside air temp sensor for the FBH, those on the passenger side are in the correct location for the FBH but I see it is not present so I think Vissie is right - FBH connections.
