i need to know all the lubricants, the gearbox, transfer box, diffs etc etc.

hope someone here can advise me. I have recently bought a 1984 110 petrol landrover station wagon. At the weekend I intend to replace all the various oils etc. I wonder if anyone can sugest which oils to replace and what types of oils to use. I intend to get a grease gun and do all the nipples...

when you say play on the sliding joint, should there be no play at all or is a little ok??

I have just removed the front prop on my 84 110 to enable me to replace the u/j's. What I am curious to know is, can I drive it safely in 2 wheel drive with the diff lock engaged fo a week or so or will I damage the vehicle???
