searching forum, how do I do a search for a problem that may already have an answer ?

I have a small leak from the nearside rocker cover near the rear, it drips down onto the lamba sensor. It is not oil, too thin, and not coolant, too dark, it is the colour of the red holomar gasket sealant. I realise it must be either oil or coolant but cant decide which, Anyone had this before...

My bonnet hinge is corroded and has become loose from the bulkhead what needs to be done? Do I remove the wing or glove box and dash to solve, is this an MOT fail ?

I'm about to change the bushes on the radius arms also, is it possible to remove the arm without touching the track rod end?

Wonder if anyone can help, when I used to locked my discovery with the remote keyfob the indicators flashed twice. Now when I lock it the indicators only flash once but stay on a bit longer. The car locks O.K. just wondered if there was a problem with the alarm?

Thanks, not that clued up on speakers, what are sub woofers ? and should they be as loud as the other speakers? Cheers.

Got a second hand amp and speakers from a local breaker and now have sound from the rear door speakers, but they are not as loud as the 4 other speakers is this normal ? Looking at some of the threads the rear door speakers look like they may only be there for the base, is that correct?

Have read that thanks, as I said it is all original so could it just be the amp that has given up?

The speakers in my rear door dont work at all not even a thud when the ignition is turned on. Having done a search I am still non the wiser, it is the original radio in my 1995 V8 so can discount an after market head. I have checked the main plug into the amp and have got power on the pinkish...

I have a 1995 V8 auto and yesterday did a lot of stopping and restarting of the engine and noticed a faint juddering like a light ABS type of juddering. This only lasted for a few hundred yards then disappeared, but it happened every time I drove off. Any idea what it may be ? Cheers.

I was only getting 10 MPG when I bought my discovery 3.9. Changed the plugs, dizzy cap, thermostat, put a new vacuum advance unit on, old one was not working, took the car to a local LPG fitting place for setting up and now get 16 MPG doing the same drives as before.

Well just to update. I changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm, vacuum advance, new plugs, thermostat and took it to a local LPG fitting garage for setting up. And I am now getting around 16 MPG instead of 10 MPG. Well chuffed at that.

BPR 6ES are the ones I have put in, maybe I should have left the expensive ones in.:confused:

just changed the spark plugs and the ones I took out were NGK PGR6A the car has LPG. Anyone know if these were the right plugs? I have replaced them with the NGK ones most people recommend. Cant remember the Number off hand.
