Hi all got myself a 1999 discovery td5 which has developed a random noise

i've tried fitting slightly brighter bulbs in there a bit better. I drove my mates car a while ago which had these hid head lights and thought they brilliant you could see so much ferther than normal ones so are the lights on the face lift disco hid or not?

Hi mate had a simalier problem with my td5 a while back the AA man put it down to Radio interferance because i was parked about 5 meters away from 2 cop cars my key wouldn,t let me in after a bit of farting about we pushed it about 60 feet away from the cop cars (luckerly i was in a car park)...

Hi mate had the same problem as you all i done was drill a 8mm hole in the top part and cut a m8 thread in the bottom part of the filter housing so now you need to use a 13mm socket instead of a 10mm to undo it, it's a bit of a fiderly job but well worth it as a new filter housing is £110. hope...

Hi i replaced the rotor filter on my disco td5 a coulple of days ago but i think i've over tightened the 2 bolts on the cover and stripped the threads i've replaced the 2 bolts to see if that helps but no joy, with the engine running oil is seeping from between the filter top and the body part...

Hi simon did your ACE pipe go on the flexable part of the hose mine has gone on the solid steel part just behind the front ofside wheel reckon i might try taking it off and brazzing the hole up.
