OK thanks mate, John Craddocks had a couple for around the £40 mark plus VAT so may go with one of them.

The receiver is in the roof near the rear sun roof switch, I've changed mine and sealed the sun roof shut so no more water leak!!!;)

It's sort of working better with new key, checked all wiring today and looks like it's a break in a wire between BCU and receiver, but ran out of time to sort it.

It's fixed, turns out it was the key fob, so got a new one from main stealers yesterday! :eek::(:(

so to check for corrosion what am I unplugging ie colour of wires and plugs is it connected to the bcu or in the footwell?

also front heated wind screen works but back one doesn't I'm hoping its wiring!

hi tried this and no joy. i tried unlocking at break at work it wouldn't work then went back at lunch and it worked i didn't disconnect battery etc. got home locked ok went to go out and nothing. I do have rave here.
