Thanks for your reply, I had no access to tools, And I was 20 miles from home, but luckily my mate Phoned the AA and they came within 45mins, I though the central locking didn't work if the keys Are in.?

I have a 04 freelander i drove it 10yrds, switch the engine off but left the key in, got out shut the door heard a click and all the doors locked,:eek: has anyone had the same problem and why did it happen. and what can i do to repair it. many thanks
