Just had a look under my Discovery 1, 2.5 TDI to see if i could find where the oil was leaking out. On the front of the gear box at the bottom it looks like a drain plug is missing.Should there be a plug fitted.

I have just joined your site and i am hoping you might be able to give me some advice ? I am going to look at a Defender 110 V8 1987 reg, what should i be looking out for, ie rust spots ,engine/transmissions noises etc. What is a good price, it as got about 100k on the clock. Looking forward to...
