Thank you........Yes I did look at JLR they have none in stock and the price is around £700 lol. So you can see why I am asking around other owners to find out which they have used as a good replacement.

Hi thanks for reading this post. My original vacuum pump has stop working. I have take the hose off at the vacuum pump and there is little to no pressure or suck even revving the engine. So as ever I googled for a replacement part/pump and on the net I saw lots of problems regarding the quality...

As gently as I can answer you, I work long hours and have a young family so the days of trailing through pages and pages of information on the internet have sadly finished, I just thought people may give me their opinons and perhaps some pointers......But thank you for reply.

Just putting this question out there 200tdi v2 the 300tdi ? Is there really that much differance? and if you have a 200tdi is it an easy swap to the 300tdi. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I very new to the Land Rover mark. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply, Yes I will get under and have a good poke around I know where the rot spots are rear crossmenber, swan neck, outriggers and behind the front bumper. I do.'t know much about Pennine Autos google them and somebody had a grievance with them about something but other than that...
