Just tried it but still no workie. Battery sounds a little weak now as well. Is it worth doing it again but have it connected to jump leads? Thanks you lot, you landy guys are great.

Thanks minidod, I'll get him outdoors to give it a try and see what happens. Fingers crossed. Is this some thing that will be happening all the time if the tank gets low on fuel? Do you think it needs a new pump?

Hi all. I have recently bought a td5 disco and the other day it ran very low on fuel but not out. A strange noise was coming from the rear of the car. My boy friend thinks it probably the fuel pump. We put in 20 ltrs of fuel but now it won't start! Any help would be great. Thanks in advance...
