Yes there are microswitches but they are in side the door actuators not separate so cant really disconnect them easily, I either need someone to deactivate the alarm with nanocom or someone with diagnostic to tell me what is setting the alarm off.
-
Well, even finding out what the problem is is a step forward.
-
Great think diagnostic is in order or i will be searching forever. Will try the bonnet latch though. Thanks for the help.

Anyone have a nanocom near me for a TD5 disco? Alarm keeps going off and I have tried many things and its not stopping it. Ideally the problem can be found or the alarm deactivated.
Thanks. Any day this week would be nice, sooner the better :D

I will see if I can get someone on LZIR nearby with a nanocom to come see what the issue is.

I mean does the bonnet switch not have the same effect on the system as the rest of the doors? ie on the alarm bip, lights and suspension?
I will disconnect the bonnet switch tomorrow but will be surprised if that stops it.
-
Does the bonnet switch not affect those things then?
-
Thought so - No it doesn't, it does it randomly. The car doesn't sound when I press the lock button as if a door is open, and the interior lights work normally as does the air suspension.
-
so im f*cked then basically. Im at uni with no tools or time, I just need a way to make it shut the hell up.

bollocks
so you cant unplug them without disconnecting the door actuators? It had all new ones last year.
-
just been reading that the only door sensor that is easy to get to is the drivers one, the rest are in the door locks?

OK thanks for the info. I will have a look tomorrow. Knowing my luck it will be set to that the motion is permanently on haha

No it does not give the single beep when i lock it with the doors closed, only if its open as it should. Where about's on the pillar are the sensors / switches, they done seem as obvious as the ones on a Defender
