next question where is the relay located??! have looked around the fuse box an nothing there but it sounds like the clicking is coming from behind the speedo clocks??

fuel is getting to the rail have already taken the fuel pipe off an there is a good stream going there it just doesn't get through the injector. Will try the checking the relay and see what happens, just through it was wierd so soon it happening after taking the spider uint out! cheers

after having all the problems with the lack of spark and the spider unit i now have another one that's delveloped! it was running fine then spluttered to a halt and wouldn't re-start, i have no fuel getting to the cylinders, the fuel pump is working, and fuel seems to be getting to the rail...

update, got the bypass lead for the spiyder fitted it an it now runs! wasn't as bad a job as i expected once i had worked out how to get the plastic trim off from underneath the radio! an only took just under an hour from start to finish. thanks for everyones help
