    M12 Lambda Sensor

Top job! I had an email from them this morning and they've sorted exactly what I needed. Thanks very much for the link and patience with me.

    M12 Lambda Sensor

Oh I don't know how you got to that page but thanks :) Some good info from that site that leads me to thinking it won't do what I need. The LR GEMS system although 12mm used a 4 wire titania sensor but I need a 4 wire 12mm zirconia type. It's for a marine application and starting to look like a...

    M12 Lambda Sensor

Thanks for the linky but I need to find out which vehicle is fitted with a 12mm type which that site doesn't really tell.

    M12 Lambda Sensor

A quick question for those in the know... Does anyone know what model and year of RR were fitted with the rare M12 Lambda sensors? I am after one for another application and been told that they were fitted to RR's at some point. Thanks in advance.

TD4 facelift - occasional 'pinking' & cloud of smoke

Mine has started doing a similar thing but no engine lights (yet). Very occasional pinking on acceleration or low throttle opening at high rev cruise. Occasional puff of smoke and momentary surge in power. Sometimes smokes (more than normal) on cold startup then sorts itself out after 2/3 mins...

    Discs and pads change

OK thanks, it looks like they "rationalised" the design then! I'll carry on as I was. Unless somebody else has tips to stop the squealing?

    Discs and pads change

...but a useful resurection for me! I've read through this thread and the links attached. I'm particularly intrigued by the LR bulletin regarding correct handed fitmeny of pads. I'm just about to change the pads on my 05 FL and have gotten hold of a set of Mintex pads. However, they are not...

To buy or not to buy...

To be honest, I wouldn't be afraid of a Transit engine. I run a small fleet of Transits and find them remarkably reliable. So much so that they have been replaced with same model when they come up for renewal. The only serious issues I've noticed is the cam sensors tend to be a consumable item...

To buy or not to buy...

Thanks for suggestions. When I said mid and long distance journeys there's not often over 50 mile I need to go. Occasionally maybe. And having been an owner of a loud mad classic I'm quite used to noisy unrefined stuff but I am getting on a bit now lol. Likewise not sure I can put up with...

To buy or not to buy...

Hi all, I am currently considering buying a Defender 90 as my daily driver but would like some opinions from those of you who live with them already. My wife has a '05 Freelander TD4 which is used mainly as the dog bus but also as her daily drive to work. It occasionally doubles up as a tow...

    td4 hydraulics

Well, I tried the wood trick and it made no difference. I then fitted a genuine LR master and no change :( Then l tried bleeding using above method and got a bit more pedal movement. A hell of a lot better than as I got it back from the garage but still not great. It is usable as it is though...

    td4 hydraulics

Hi all, I just joined the forum but have been nosing around for months... Is that stalking?? Anyway, I have very similar issue to above. Just had a leaky slave and since the box was out anyway, I thought I'd put complete kit in. Clutch cover, plate, slave and master. All LUK bits so reasonable...
