Solenoid just a switch , put battery live lead direct to the one coming out of starter or have a couple of heavy duty/ jump flying leads connected to the two lead ends and into cab and join there to engage starter
I will give it a go over with a wire wheel
And then may sneak into the dishwasher when the wife isn’t looking before giving the inside a final buffing.
