I was born Anlaby road and grew up Endike lane/Calvert lane, im in Sutton now. It is a 15p engine as it says on the V5 I was going to use isopropanol alchohol or brake cleaner to clean them both. Hope these are ok yo use? Andy

Many thanks for your reply sierrafery, I will unplug the MAF sensor and run it on my way home and see if it's any better. If not i will check the hoses for splits or delamination. I believe it's Empire tuning. Andy

Got round to fitting the bias plate on Monday which went quite easily to be honest, only had to remove the first plate and had easy access to replace the plate which had snapped completely off. I can get all gears nicely now without guessing where 3rd and 4th are. So, last night on the way home...

Replaced the gear stick centering plate and springs, i can now select 3rd and 4th with ease. Also replaced the rubber bung that caps off the pipe that's under the turbo with a nice new silicone one so no mere weeping coolant. Andy
