how do i confirm aircon working as one garage says it is not another one says it is.it is blowing out cold and there is some water underneath when i do put it on none there when i dont use it :o

thanks for reply do you think it would cause any more problems if i sprayed WD40 in ignition switch as the battery is good also new alternator also new battery was fitted a little while ago the only other thing i notice it is happening when really cold in morning but does not happen at night...
