How often does every one change there glow plugs ?? Or do we wait while they pack in ?:eek:

Right, just had the tank off the disco 300 tdi to weld up the chassis and rear crossmember. Refitted and filled her up and she fired up straight away. Travelled up to leeds 50 miles and parked uyp and left it over night. The next morning took a couple of go,s to start her run it for a mile...

Cv out no signs of any heavy wear feels slightly grouchy...gonna replace it now its out...dont think thats mi problem tho

Ye thats ok had it up on all 4s all wheels turning...nothing...its only when im coming to a halt wether im free wheeling or in gear with the clutch pressed..seems to be coming from the left hand side, think am gonna strip the hub and have a nosey athe cv

Hmmm it seems to be coming from the front....but i will check this tomoz cheers

When coming to a halt my disco has just started knocking, if i leave it till death before pressing the clutch it appears. I been under and had a grapple with the props etc shook the wheels done a left and right 360 in a car park and cant put my finger on it any one any ideas...maybe a cv joint...

Scrape off the chassis then spray with underseal I pump old oil into the chassis larup old oil and grease every where, waxoyl under bonet..oh tarpaulin down first...drips for a couple of hours...does the job..:). All excess oil drips into the Potholes :)

Has anyone fitted any of these from YRM metal Solutions if so any tips...do,s and donts any for f****ks sakes :) much appreciated before i make a b******ks of it

Ive had this problem and had about an inch of play in the steering..took it up on the steering box, fine now

Im always on ebay keepin an eye on the discos and just this month the prices have gone barmy...why i dont know...maybe predicting bad snow again this winter...even spares or repairs ones are barmy:(

None mate it was hairline av run welder over it now just wonderd if it were common
