Thanks for that pal, I wondered why there was one stud and two bolts! I just want to make mine look decent and have a decent electrical system. The engine and gearbox work brilliantly and the chassis is in tip top nick so no need to alter any of that.

Few more pix from a few hours today
Trying to remove all the gubbins from the bulkhead before ordering the replacement from Goole, £1300 as opposed to £2.5k plus for a brand new one!
On a slightly separate note, What are the correct bolts for the exhaust to manifold connection...

And I thought I had a project! At least my chassis is sound, what paint have you used as your primer?

Started on the removal of the tub this week. Seats removed and most of the bolts undone. One to be cut off next weekend along with the stays underneath.

This is the slow progress thus far. I have only about 4 hours a week to spend on my 109 at the moment so this is a long term project. I will be stripping her down to the chassis and then taking a look and mending that which needs mending and doing a complete rewire at least! Bits noted thus far...

Got a workshop at last! Have started stripping the bodywork off, wings and radiator panel all off now, as is the roof and windscreen.
