Hi All,
Ignorance alert but have attached a pic of what I think is a badly rusted fuel tank cradle. Am I right? The bar element is falling apart.
If so, do you know roughly part cost and repair? Cheers

Completely missed the link 🤦♂️. Am gonna buy RH LH assemblies - my mate has garage space and we’re going to replace them ourselves 👍.

Ok thanks - cost was 190 for parts only… Though am now confused about them talking about inner track rods. Think I’ll take it to a LR / 4x4 place (took it to local garage).

Right just to add, they said I need inner track rods and ends(?).

Hi all, I’ve just been quoted £200 for a pair of track rods for my Freelander Auto 2005. Doing a quick online search that seems way over the mark - am I right?

So there’s been a rattling sound somewhere front drivers side for a short while (mainly over bumps), but today I noticed a ticking sound from the same area, when the engine’s running and even when stationary. It’s fairly loud when next to the wheel.
Also have a squeak when coming off the foot...

Thanks @Jayridium, massively appreciated (it was an advisory on my MoT). Think I’ll try the SKE100021 idea in first instance. Thanks also for the actual part number.

Hi All,
I seem to be on a mission impossible trying to source a brake pedal rubber for my TD4 Facelift Auto. Manual no problem it seems. Any one have any pointers? Thanks!

The Freelander fun and games continued today with a flat battery and a host of dashboard lights. Am determined to sort this all out so I can have some fun driving it!

As I’m new to this crazy Freelander journey I think I might take in to a local Land Rover specialist (John Dennis). Naturally on a cold start today to just park it a bit closer to my house it didn’t do the weird jumping/jolting...
