Morning folks.

I can’t find my books, I’ll be in bum**** egypt (wales) with no phone signal and setting up the valve tappety clearances on a td5
Can anyone kindly let me know how big I should push my feelers in for inlet and exhaust please

I think they may be hydraulic tappets and non adjustable after a bit googling

Ditto.
From Haynes "no checking or adjustment of the valve clearances is required"

Does that mean they are shimmed from a datum ?

They are hydraulic.
