..and cant belive they didnt call it a freelander. Looks very similar, should have been the newer version IMHO.
 
Yeah I agree. Discovery has a better name tho. I've seen one or two not toooo bad from the front but still to decide if I like the back...
 
It's basically an attempt to combine both the freelander and discovery into one 'leisure' orientated segment of the land rover brand. Same way as there are now a few different range rover models. The disco sport is effectively a direct replacement for the old freelander.
 
My dad has ordered one. The 2.2 180bhp (SD4 maybe) one, should get it April I think.

Sounds ok, though I am not sure on the back end either.
 
Mini Range Rover more like! can you tell which ones a Evoke and which is the disco at a glance?

Its living on.. They are bringing a Disco 5 out soon according to my local dealer, Went in to look at a D4 and he said if you wait a little longer get a D5?? so who knows what thats going to be like?

Probably another squash back re-jig on the Gaylander/Evoke platform with no proper 4 WD.:rolleyes:
 
Clue is stamped on the bonnet edge, but the front ends of the latest rangie and sport, although not identical are very similiar, it's a family thing, or the designer stuck for new ideas.
