Saw this out today, took a quick snap at some red lights.

What the hell is this ugly bodywork ridges its got going on down the sides?

LR sold it as an option. It's not very popular. I can see why.

Apparently it is called a tomb raider body kit???? I think it is hideous.

The old biddy driving it clearly doesnt need those rock sliders either, reckon she'd even notice if they went missing? how hard are they to get off?

Tomb raider bodykit? Weird I dont remember tomb raider doing any freelander advertising, though didnt Angelina Jolie do a Disco 2 tombraider advert back in the late 90s?

No idea but when I was searching eBay for landy bargains I spotted this very same kit and that is what they called it, strangely it had no bids probably because it looks nasty

most threads need pictures, this one doesn't. Why on earth would anyone willingly attach those to their car?!

Tomb Raider kit ?????? Always found that funny considering Lara Croft:Tomb Raider was released in 2001 and these bodykits were available from the Freelander's launch in 1997.
Incidentally there really was a Tomb Raider Freelander, but it never had a bodykit on it.It did have lots of chequerplate. It was actually the best looking Freelander Land Rover never sold .

LR Special Vehicles made this one to appear in the movie but then they used a Defender


it hasn't got that Body Kit, I guess the "Tomb Raider Body Kit" name just stuck
