Just took off my Continental Conti4X4Contacts which I run in the winter, and put on my Continental ContiSportContact 2s for the summer.

The TD4 likes 'em!

I like them - 'cause I get's 'em cheap!

Lots of Ford Cuga and Mercedes C Class & E Class write-offs around.

The ContiSport 2s give a new meaning to 'roadholding'.

Faster than a fast thing moving fast!

Hoo-ah!

I had the Michelin Synchrone 4x4 in summer. No complaints but they are worn now.

Took the Michelin Latitude Alpin winter tires off last week. No complaints with them in snow, rain and even off road.
Next Thursday I go for the Yokohama Geolandar GO12 A/T-S for use in summer and off road.

Can you let me know if they're any good please. I've been looking at these for mine.

Michelin synchrones. 225/55/17.

Got them brand new 2 years ago, likely before they were discontinued.

Will get another 2 years out of them so I don't need to worry about tyres till then.

Michelin Latitude Cross. They were brilliant in the snow. I stuck with Michelins after using synchrones renewed 2 at a time on the back. I tossed out the last two with 2mm of tread after 52000 miles!

This morning they put on the Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S at my Td4 with now 205.405km on the clock.

I now put on the size 215 70 R16. So the tire is a little higher than the 215 65 R16 Michelins I had.

Used them today for about 100km. So it is to early to make a full report.

They don't make more noise than the Michelin Synchrone or the Michelin Latitude Alpin.

Didn't use them yet off road, but some fellow members of the Freelander Club Belgium have them and used them off road. No complaints.
