Traction Control
Temperature Check

One of the above is correct.

I would imagine that if it only comes on sometimes maybe something needs checking?

so is it normal? TC coming on?

On most cars such lights coming on for a second or so when you first turn the ignition on are part of the systems all checking themselves.

If it stays on, or comes on randomly when the TC is not actually working then I would suggest you get it checked.

thanks for that! It does comes on only for a second or two especially if its freezing outside! so I assume this is normal for the car!

It means that you havent read the users manual.

no offence mate but it was a quick question, been really busy hence needed advice from experts like yourselves. So thanks for pointing me to read the manual but for now I would like to know the tip on the GO!

Cheers....

As yu are too busy to RTFM and I have nothing to do all day but look up Hippoo owners and service manual for peeps that cant be arsed - here goes.

Electronic Traction Control (TC)
The TC warning lamp is illuminated for approximately 4 seconds when the ignition is switched to position II for a bulb
check. When traction control is operating, the TC warning lamp will be illuminated for a minimum of 2 seconds or for
as long as the traction control system is active. The TC warning lamp also illuminates when the ABS ECU detects a
brake system fault which affects traction control. If a fault is detected the lamp will remain permanently illuminated.
The vehicle may still be driven but rectification of the fault should be sought at the earliest opportunity.

and as yu aint read the other bits either.....
Hill Descent Control Information
The lamp illuminates for approximately 2 seconds when the ignition is switched to position II for a bulb check. The
lamp illuminates when the driver selects Hill Descent Control (HDC), to inform the driver that the system is enabled.
If the lamp flashes, the system cannot enable HDC due to excessive speed or incorrect gear selection.
Hill Descent Control Fault
The lamp illuminates for approximately 2 seconds when the ignition is switched to position II for a bulb check. The
lamp illuminates if a fault is detected within the HDC system, providing the driver with a visible warning. The lamp is
illuminated for a short period when the ignition is switched to position II.

and if my memory serves me rite - one of the warning lamps will stay on until you reach 5MPH. now instead of sitting on here for 45 minutes waiting for other peeps to do wot yu could have done in 5 - i suggest you RTFM.

:dnfnoob: :violent:

we didnt say yu were - i mean - even Si and I were Hippoo owners once - so salvation is possible for you all ;)
