November 08, my warranty runs out after extending it for a further 2 years after buying a 52plate Petrol.

I know you have to way up the costs but to extend it for a further two years at the time was around £90pm for 10months to get the extra cover.

Dumped the old girl in the garage after loosing water and having to top us with a .5litre every 20miles or so in the cooling bottle. They managed to get it onto the ramps today to find out the cylinder head gasket had gone and that the water pump had seized, they cannot confirm if these are related or unrelated at this moment.

Well to my delight they have called me back to say that both items and labour are covered by the Network Q warranty and all being well I will have my car back on Monday. !!

I have just been thinking of the work that I have had done over the last 36months of warranty

New engine manifold.
Rear window motor replaced.
Cylinder Head Gasket.
New water pump
VCU replaced.
8days car hire.

From my point of view definitely worth the £900 I have paid and when I do change the old girl for a younger model I will probably purchase again from Network Q

mmmm seems well worth it, i have just googled car warranty. it seems you can take one out even if you own the car.

don't know how much yet.

i shall let you know.
