Default vibrating

Hi there
i've a W 2000 plate freelander 2di . ive had a vibrating from front for a month or two.
it all started when i swapped rear tyres for front to preserve them for MOT . it all starts at around 65 - 75 mph . it was like a left to right shake . i took it to Kwick fit for wheel balanceing . still happening . took it to a local garage to check and found a rubber barring at rear of prop was shot whitch was also causeing knocking when changeing gear . still shakeing so got garage to recheck balanceing . rears were both of by
55 oz .fronts were of 15 oz . shacking was alot better but not gone . so i swapped fronts back to rear which has now changed the shakeing from front to a slight vibrating on the rear . not to bad at 70 mph but seem to notice when accelerating though 3rd gear .any idears please advise

Are the wheels bent? if they've been curbed and knocked out of round you would definately notice it more when on the front (steering) axle.
