Hi folks,

I just thought I would give you an update on how things are with my 2004 freelander td4 auto as some of you will remember that when I first bought it in January I had nothing but problem's with how it was running and faults that the dealership I bought it from should have fixed prior to me buying it.
Well I am happy to say that all that frustration and annoying problems were dealt with and 2-3 months later I can say that it has been a great motor to own and drive!

Just got a service done, oil change in automatic gearbox, opted for the modified bmw crankcase breather kit, new front drop links and aux belt, the freelander now feels even better to drive and my mileage is now 107k but it feels like it has done half of that figure!

Only things I need to do now is replace the inside grab handles as paint has rubbed off edges over the years and get the seats and door trims cleaned!

Anyone else have the light sandy coloured interior like mine and knows how to bring the seats back up to looking new??
If I can get them back to looking nice and clean I will be delighted!

Thanks again.

My seats are the light coloured suede/leather type and i got all the bobbling and crap off mine with the wife's battery fluff remover. As for the grab handles a light rub down with very fine emery paper a quick clean with acetone and a top coat of plasticoat spray paint in cream.Blends in nice
