tyre choice

looking to put some new tyres on, currently got some 215-65-16 wrangler hp want get some general grabber at2 but there none about in this size all on back order, i can get these in a 215-70-16 is ok to run on these or should i stick with the recommended tyre size.

215/70 is only a little taller than 215/65. I can't see a problem.

i've been running this size for over a year with no problems at all. gives you almost an inch of extra ride height for free!! also lots more choices

I guess 215/70/16 will work for you fine. I guess so, because I am looking after such as well : D

70/s are fine. I have them on mine only problem was trying to persuade my four year to get in as she felt it was higher.

215/80/15 or 205/80/16 are tallest you will fit on FL without cutting the arches or fouling suspension....believe you can also get a 225/75/15 with a 30mm spacer

i have tried all the tyre retailers on line no one has any all on back order from suppliers. thanks for the help.

Even in your town won't anyone have such tires as 215/70/16?
I live in small town, like 25 000 citizens and I will find fittings easily. Sometimes oldstyle search is better

Tyres from Event Mobile Tyres - Mobile Tyre Fitting for Car, 4x4 and Run Flat Tyres ? will come and fit them at home or your work, might be worth a try, did fine for me on the same size Grabbers,
