Hi Guy's. First one, where is the pollen filter on the 1998 2.0 Di hippo, and secondly there's one glow plug right behind the fuel pump, looks bad to get out. :( any ideas. Cheers in advance

You may have found out by now, but I have a 98 Di, which has no pollen filter, I believe only vehicles with A/C have them.
The inaccessable GLOW PLUG requires removal of F.I.Pump but Rover vehicles with L-Series engine are only fitted with 3 glow plugs from new. Sorry this message is late, haven't been online due to computer problems. (I am ex Rover/Land Rover worker.)

not all l-series have 3 some do have 4 i have never sen one with 3

You are probably right, it was the last few years they were in production I think, (to save on cost when they found 3 was enough in most conditions.

Plus mine has the pollen filter as well, my plugs are o.k, but when time comes to change them, do you think i could get away with just putting three in, otherwise it's quite abig job taking the pump and belt off etc!!! plus it would have to go to the garage:( so you would be talking the price of the plugs, plus maybe 2 hrs labour at a garage.
